The Alta Rocca, such a beautiful landscape !

The first place I would suggest you visit during your stay in Southern Corsica is the Alta Rocca. You will be welcomed with forests, mountains and valleys, not to mention the region’s numerous archaeological sites. To discover a little paradise on earth, you should also visit the nature reserve of the Lavezzi islands.

Cargèse and its Grecian city-like feel is perfect for taking a stroll, whether it be romantic or solitary, to experience some peace and calm. Also make sure to visit Ajaccio, the birthplace of Napoleon and discover its narrow streets and prestigious museums. You can also visit Bonifacio, a hillside town that crowns the Mediterranean.

For a day at the sea…

Enjoy the sun and beach in Southern Corsica for a day!

Southern Corsica is also the perfect place to spend a day at the beach and get sun-kissed skin. Check out Propiano, a pretty seaside resort with turquoise waters, surrounded by the Rocheuses Mountains.

Rondinara bay is the perfect place for a lazy day by the refreshing, calm sea. You may think I’m exaggerating a bit, but you absolutely must also go to the Sanguinaires islands to take a boat trip and really take in this magnificent place.
